We look forward to meeting you on your first visit to our office. During this time, we will help you get acquainted with our office and learn about your orthodontic treatment. We understand that each patient's orthodontic treatment is different, and we promise to give you the personal attention you deserve. Your first orthodontic visit will consist of an initial conversation to discuss your orthodontic concerns so we can have a better idea of what you would like to accomplish with orthodontic treatment. Dr. Wong will then examine you to check on your current orthodontic status. After the examination, Dr. Wong will share his findings with you and discuss any potential treatment options. This important visit will address your orthodontic needs to determine if this is the proper time to begin treatment or even if orthodontic treatment will address your specific concerns.

If treatment is recommended and you would like to proceed with the next step after orthodontic treatment, Dr. Wong may suggest having a set of orthodontic records taken for a more comprehensive evaluation. These records will help guide us to finding the most appropriate treatment to address your specific concerns as well as improve the overall health of your teeth and jaws.

After the doctor has evaluated your records, we will conduct a treatment consultation to review the findings with you and explain all aspects of your treatment in detail. We will provide a complete clinical diagnosis regarding the nature of the problem, a written summary of the findings and a detailed plan that outlines your treatment, goals and estimated fees. We encourage questions from both the patient and the parent, and as such, we provide ample time to answer your questions.
